Deep Sky Astrophotography might be the area of photography I'm most excited about going forward. Just do an internet search for deep sky images and marvel was what people are able to capture in their own backyards. Unfortunately, living on the outskirts of Los Angeles doesn't allow for much opportunity in my backyard, but well planned trips 150 miles to the east put me beneath skies that rival anywhere in the country.
